About R-Series Productions

R-Series Productions is an audio production touring company owned and operated by Audio Engineer Roger Thornhill who have been servicing the entertainment industry since 1989.

We have provided many local & international acts with state-of-the-art audio, lighting & visual productions across many venues & event types in Australia and around the globe from theatre, live concert arenas, award ceremonies to television broadcast.

The productions have seen R Series tour through out Europe (Portugal, Spain, France, Germany & Belgium) with international artists such as Rod
Stewart, Gipsy Kings, The Scorpions (Acoustic album only), Jose Alberto Reis, Linda de Susa, Michael Oldfield, The Aluminia, Maio Moco and
Alexandra, providing all with the necessary staff, crew and a total audio and visual package.

Locally and throughout Australia R-Series has supplied productions at events for St Vincent’s Hospital (NSW), University of NSW, Sydney Olympic Sports Centre and some of Australia’s biggest summer music festivals including Stereosonic, Parramatta and the Hills Spring festivals.

R-Series Productions is contracted to Rooty Hill RSL in Western Sydney which began back in 2010, providing technical advise and operational skills needed for the clubs entertainment & in particular live events, from singers, bands to TV broadcast and event functions.

R-Series have been a company of choice for many local and international acts, such John Stephan (Roy Orbison show), Nikki Bennet (Helen Ready show), Rick Astley, Smash Mouth, Sheena Easton, Jerry Lewis, Rhonda Burchmore, Boney M, Aleyce Simmonds, Luke O’shea, The Angels, Ganggajang and many many more throughout the years.

At present, R Series Productions is also contracted to Windsor RSL, Riverstone Memorial RSL, Everglades Country Club and The Hayden Orpheum Picture Palace and several promoters in the entertainment industry offering all of the above including audio, lighting and visual equipment along with the qualified personnel to operate it.

We’ve been proving lighting solutions for over 20 years both locally and internationally in Australia and Europe. We have catered from small-scaled shows, pubs and theaters to corporate events and large arena concerts.

We have the latest lighting technologies available from consoles, dimmer units, static and LED fixtures to intelligent lighting from Martin, Robe, GLP, Jands and Clay Paky.

In addition, most recently we’ve acquired wireless DMX technology to further broaden design and creativity needs requested by our clientele.

We are able to custom design your vision using state of the art 3D modelling software such as Vectorworks.
